3:00 AM SDA Market/IIT Delhi discussions. My brother-in-law was traveling from Germany and had a 5-hour layover at Delhi airport. Picked him up and had a late-night/early morning chai-snack at Chayoos, SDA. Chayoos is the only place open all night in the SDA Market (bang opp IIT Delhi main gate). Was surprised to find it busy and buzzing not only with students, but also older-youngsters like me and even senior youngsters in their 50s and 60s discussing startups, investments, art and literature over kadak-chai. @naveetscientist

They are representative of a privileged group from Bollywood that had previously taken over Indian cinema and made itself the representative. This group represents privilege, nepotism, foreign culture imposition, and Indian values eradication. Indian cinema is so diverse. You must have met actors like Rajinikanth from the South who, being one of the richest in Indian cinema, would have come in his simple dhoti, slippers, and sacred ash on his head to meet you. Or Mithun from the great Bengal. You should meet directors like Aditya Dhar and Randeep Hooda. Actors Yami Gautam and Anupam Kher. Priyamani and Prabas. There are so many more who would have truly represented the diversity of Indian cinema from east, west, north, and south. These people are passe and can be seen at any party. You can easily meet them at Cannes next.

Imagine visiting a park early in the morning for fresh air and peace, only to find it turned into a noisy cooking spot by some budhas.
