Also spent a lot of 2020 and 2021 in the National Command and Coordination Centre… some really difficult times for @Scotambservice made better by the commitment of staff and our partners.

Day 3 of reflection and it’s about the last 2 years during the pandemic. Working with the military to put the MACA in place for @Scotambservice, setting up staff welfare, our volunteer ambulance support from @BritishRedCross @RedCrossScot, and losing my beard for face fitting!

Very sad to have lost our beautiful wee mum today. Huge thanks to East Kilbride District nurses, NHS Lanarkshire OOH GPs and all the amazing staff at Meldrum Gardens in East Kilbride who supported mum and us. A peaceful death achieved after a beautiful life well lived. GBNF mum x
