@RMTunion The ticket machine couldn’t provide this ticket for my son, who has additional needs. The staff at Morpeth station ticket office are wonderful and are essential to the vulnerable and disabled. Ticket offices matter because people matter.

@doctor_oxford @ObsNewReview There are such insane rules - like those for Nursing Apprenticeships where you can’t do it if you’re a UK citizen who has been living abroad, but we can drain other countries of their potential nurses on the same scheme. So much defies simple logic. Hard not to despair.

@BrobergMatthew @Avery_Books @HeatherCashman Many many. I think becoming a vegetarian in my teens was actually a way of avoiding meat textures. I love that veg alternatives to meat don’t have risk of gristly bits or bone or congealed fat. 🤢
