The odd dynamic between foundation doctors and allied staff stood out to me most on a med job I had as an F1. We were told the ANPs (band 7, paid 50% more than us at the time) were fountains of knowledge but should escalate patients in their bay to us if unwell Paradoxical

Brilliant speech by @chrismrris, shame the sentiment in the room was not with you. Cohorts of current UK medical students and foundation doctors are watching the BMA and associated groups with great intent. One would be wise not to alienate the base of their core membership.
