President Droupadi Murmu visited the National War Memorial in Lilongwe and paid floral tribute to the soldiers and civilians who laid down their lives during the First and Second World War and other military operations. The President also paid tribute to Indian soldiers whose sacrifices have been honoured in this Memorial. The President also laid wreath at the Kamuzu Mausoleum – the resting place of the first President of Malawi Dr Hastings Kamuzu Banda.

On the last day of her State visit to Malawi, President Droupadi Murmu visited the Radha Krishna temple in Lilongwe, an important Centre of socio-cultural activities for the Indian diaspora in Malawi. Before departing from Malawi, the President also visited Lake Malawi, a biodiversity hotspot and home to over 1000 species of fish. The lake plays a central role in the Malawian economy, with over one-third of the country's population depending on it for livelihood, fresh water, transportation, and electricity.
