Toying around with adding a little assist marker under the player when you’re in the air. It seems to help when trying to time/land jumps when platforming and I don’t think it looks toooo intrusive or immersion-breaking. What do you think? Keep it?

@simplegamee Just hate seeing this trend. Trying to squeeze as much as they can out of someone for what amounts to a free key… sorry a “chance” at a free key. This should be the other way around and not sure how we got here to be honest.

Seeing this odd trend of publishers opening "applications" for content creators to cover their games. They want you producing a certain amount of content to even be "considered" for a review key. The power is and always will be in the hands of the gamers. Trying to take advantage of people who are chasing their passion/hobby is not a good look.

@pr_pirate How do you weigh the “size” or “scale” of the indie game? Larger creators tend to feel the same way sometimes. They won’t play a “little known game” because they want the big name ones to draw views, so where’s the balance point for both parties?

I value effort & quality just as much as numbers, but I've been getting a lot of code requests from channels that haven't quite proven themselves yet. if your channel only has a handful of followers (I'm talking sub 100 here) or you've only done 5 livestreams so far... Maaaaaaybe it's too early to start asking PR for codes to games? There are free demos out there you can play for weeks or months while building your channel. Or you can play your backlog. Passion goes a long way, but you've also got to be mindful that PR agencies need to bring some kind of return for their indie clients. We're not Santa throwing out keys like candy ^^

@pr_pirate This may be a dumb question, but why not reach out to various creators instead? We see every email, answer ever dev that reaches out to us etc. Seems like it would be much more efficient vs trying to sift through 10k fake requests.

losing faith in humanity again as I weed out the very few legit key requests out of hundreds of scam emails. Also just reported about 10 Twitch scammers that all had the exact same videos & "about" template on their profile to KeyMailer :D I'm getting very close to just sending codes to people already on my list and ignoring all other new requests. sigh.
