@kui3582 @culibern If that's truly the case, can't he sue? Kotobukiya distributes Hemoxian's kits in Japan (and the US), and Kotobukiya is the one that uses his machinika body the most. If he had complaints, wouldn't Kotobukiya listen?

@kui3582 @culibern Oh, are you talking about E-Model? Dragon Momoko's people split into different companies, but I don't think Hemoxian and E-Model are directly related. To my knowledge, they are different groups of people that split from Dragon Momoko when it dissolved.

@kui3582 @culibern I am aware that Dragon Momoko partially split into Hemoxian. However, I found that their mecha kits like Tastier and Baki are actually quite innovative. Their jiangshi kit has a unique design, even if the idea behind the joints is similar. It's sold in Japan, right?

@ViiPenguin @culibern "He Moxian" was formerly "龍桃子." During the 龍桃子 period they specialized in making bootleg Gundam. Their current girl model articulation designs are copies of Kotobukiya.

@kui3582 @culibern ? Can you give examples? Are we talking about Chinese companies as a whole, or specific companies? I usually buy Chinese kits that are also sold at stores in Japan, I think. My favorite Chinese kits are by hemoxian.

@kui3582 @culibern I think hypocrisy matters, and I don't think it's fair or reasonable when someone is only concerned about an issue when it comes to one side when their side does/did the exact same thing. It's especially concerning when they try to justify/downplay it when pointed out.

@kui3582 @culibern Some of those Japanese companies still exist today because of the wrong they did in the past. The original Chinese model makers you mentioned also stopped making bootlegs. They're not doing anything wrong and are now legit, just like those Japanese companies. So why oppose them?

@kui3582 @culibern Japanese companies at the time knew they were making bootlegs and their Japanese customers knew they weren't the real thing. They were sued by various US and EU companies. Like modern Chinese kits, the guitars and jeans were also high quality at a low price.

@oma_plamo @Mechagaikotsu While that's true for many kits of that era, but not of other PGs that preceded the ARF. It's technically not even color-inaccurate, but people from back then complained about this specifically bc they expected it to be a separate part on a PG regardless of the color accuracy.

@ViiPenguin @Mechagaikotsu My point being, not ever kit in 2009 was some super part and color separated masterpiece that Mecha excepts. Used HG 00 kits as an example of good kits from a past era
