Screw it! I have been working on this for a while, and today I finally decided to finish. It doesn’t look as epic as I imagined, but it’s the first time I nailed how he should look, - how to draw that raccoon mask. I’ll get better at shading and drawing him as I keep practicing.

Kind of a tangent, but actually the executive branch is Constitutionally designed to be incredibly powerful, far more than people realize. The entire executive power of the state is vested into one man for a four year term; in other words, he is literally a king who is elected and the only bounds to his power are what's explicitly portioned out to the legislative and judicial branches. Few presidents have had the force of will to seize all of the power they're entitled to, and unfortunately of the few who have (Lincoln, Wilson, FDR) most have been bad people.

I'll surely lose followers for this, but I don't care, it has to be said. Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln was a wannabe dictator who regularly had political rivals, journalists, and anybody who opposed him imprisoned, exiled, or even killed. A man who bemoaned that he was not actually a king, who frequently - and loudly - wished he had more power, and stretched the bounds of his office far beyond any presidents before him. Now this isn't me taking any side on the American civil war. This is not a pro-confederacy position or anything of the sort. This is about Lincoln himself. Dude was a tyrant and even his own administration admitted his megalomaniacal tendencies. There's a reason John Wilkes Booth shouted "death to tyrants" when he shot the bastard. The symbolism of his memorial portraying him in a literal temple with the man seated on a freaking throne like a king is not accidental. Lincoln was a power-hungry tyrant who didn't give a single shit about the slaves. All he cared about was his own power.

@BozoProzo I have deeper respect for the second guy who shoot himself, instead of the first guy who used a coup to become dictator for masturbation of his own ego. Sadly, only the first guy has a streets and avenues named after his name.
