We’re noticing an elevated increase in root depth as well as root mass throughout all 18 greens from Dec. 2024 to current Dec. 2025. Our late summer fall fertility plan is working its magic. Current soil temps are holding @ 54/64 degrees in the afternoons. Not bad for Dec.

@DaryckB Are you planning on limiting in placements this winter. As I’m sure you know other clubs cut 2-3 holes and rotate them every few days. That way you don’t have 10 holes cut in the same location of the green and therefore impacting the greens during the spring growing season.

Myself & our asst. are going to start mapping pin placements for our greens. There are entirely too many areas on the greens not being utilized.This will benefit the health of our turf & bring new challenges to our members.This is long overdue, but will take awhile so be patient.
