After hearing “Shadow on the Sun” by Audioslave in Michael Mann’s brilliant film, ‘Collateral,’ I went back and listened to the band’s self-titled debut. The fusion of vocals and instruments is absolutely perfect from start to finish!

Reading the ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere’ by @WarrenZanes, I paused to listen to the 4-album run that culminated with ‘Nebraska.’ Between Zanes’ masterful storytelling and those albums, I was even more in awe of ‘Nebraska’ than when I first heard it. Didn’t think that was possible!

Introduced John to John Woo’s ‘Hard Boiled’ last night. His verdict: “it was pretty great!” And I’m made clear that isn’t even my favorite film from that period of Woo’s career!
