This is the estate at Woodberry Down that @ZackPolanski turned up at Hackney Town Hall to STOP being built in 2019! It was a post-war failed estate in need of regeneration. At the time policy compliant: 5000 social, part buy & market tenancies. Everyone had a right to return.

@NFBUK @cityoflondon I know exactly where this is and have commented before on how totally unsafe it is, for everyone but especially so for those with disabilities.

London is having a road safety crisis, but no one is watching. All fatal and serious injuries well above target. Fatal and serious cyclist injuries at its highest ever level, 1172, by a long way! Keep up the treatment until the patient dies

Well this is a lie and the @cityoflondon know it. Blind people will not be able to catch the bus to travel beyond their local area because of floating bus stops. The @CityofLondon suggest discrimination in this manner is lawful!

Work on City of London cycleway to proceed but floating bus stop fear remains The scheme was halted last September after concerns were raised about the risks the bus stops pose to the visually impaired My London mylondon.news/news/transport…

I'm sure Labour members have experienced a range of emtions in the past week, not least those who lost seats. It's been a tough few days but now we have another by-election to fight and all of us can do our bit to help get a Labour candidate elected.

@Geraldi31348001 Yep. The requirement is ‘ordinarily resident’. So using an accommodation address is not legit.

@VincentStops As far as I know he house shares in Hackney but he is registered living at the House Boat which is in Waltham Forest so if I'm correct he would have been in trouble for voting in Hackney.

@benellery Do you have to vote? Who revealed that he didn’t? How much does it matter?

EXC: Zack Polanski has admitted he did not vote in last week's local elections. He previously indicated he cast a postal vote in Hackney before spending polling day campaigning in Wales. However, the party confirmed that he had not registered because of fears for his safety.

Ifhat Shaheen, seen here on @hackneygreens electoral address standing next to candidate @Zoegarbett and @ZackPolanski, delivered on 3 May, is not to represent @TheGreenParty as announced on Question Time? Does @ZoeGarbett know? When did Zack tell her?

Xico Pérez 🔻@MrXicoPerez

🙄 @RachelMillward just confirmed on #BBCQT that she will not let new Hackney councillor Ifhat Shaheen “continue to represent” @TheGreenParty after Fiona Bruce “accused” Ifhat of asking if “Zionist funding was behind the far-right marches of Tommy Robinson”… who IS a Zionist!

Voter registration closed on 20 April. Last day for a postal vote was 21 April. On 3 May @Zackpolanski published an insta video saying “You’ve got my vote Zoe” (@ZoeGarbett in Hackney). On 7 May he told Sky he had postal voted. 14 May he was forced to admit none of this was true. Where was he ‘normally resident on 20 April?. The ‘security’ cover up is not credible. None of this is credible @benellery @NeilGarratt Did @ZoeGarbett know any of this when she took part in the video? Local reporting is that he was not ‘normally resident’ in Hackney, but staying in her Cllr colleague’s family home.

So @ZackPolanski told @ZoeGarbett he voted for her. We now know he lied and wasn’t even registered to vote in Hackney. But did @ZoeGarbett know he was lying in their video?

EXCLUSIVE from @fintan_03 and @benellery Zack Polanski has admitted he did not vote in last week’s local elections The Green Party leader had previously indicated through a spokesman that he had cast a postal vote in Hackney before spending polling day in Wales, and had publicly told the east London borough’s mayoral candidate: “You have my vote” However, after inquiries by The Times, the party confirmed on Thursday that he had in fact not registered to vote in the elections because of fears for his safety Polanski had pledged his support to Zoë Garbett, the Green candidate for Hackney mayor, telling her “you have my vote” in a campaign video released on May 3 “One consequence of the heightened intrusion and safety risk he faces was that Zack did not register to vote in the most recent local elections,” a spokesman said The party said Polanski had faced “extreme and distressing press intrusion” since becoming leader, including “antisemitic cartoons” and journalists “doorstepping family members”, and was now in discussions with police and local authorities about registering anonymously thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

@earthygirl011 @RebeccaNP Maybe he lived there as a resident, so he should pay tax, but he broke the rules of the Marina as it’s for leisure use, so he should be evicted for not following the rules.

@RebeccaNP It's in the Telegraph piece. But as subsequent info has come to light the context has now changed ie it isn't a 'Zack Polanski' specific issue as was originally implied (deliberately tax dodging) Polanski investigated over failure to pay council tax share.google/bFNj9ueHPM7gwo…

@5goalthriller This Houseboat is in Waltham Forest where the Greens have control so surely Green Party members should want Polanski paying his council tax so the Greens can afford whatever "radical" ideas they promised there.

This Labour government is tackling the housing crisis. Our Social Housing Bill will protect precious social housing stock and incentivise the building of new social homes. Our Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill marks the beginning of the end for the feudal leasehold system.
