I wore a top today to work that was my mum’s in the 60s. She dropped off my daughter tonight after school and I saw her immediately clock it and the sheer memory slide that passed her face was intense as she said, ‘I loved that top.’ 😭💕

Our vintage donations often came with stories. A beautiful 'mermaid' green top - bought in Carnaby Street, and worn to a dinner where Dame Margot was the guest of honour - always brought a tear or two to an audience. One day we'll write that book!
