@terrybnd @lakedistrictnpa I don't live in your glorious part of the world and to see the landscape abused like this just sickens me...I can only imagine you feel living there 😔. Yes the Lakes are one of the most beautiful areas of our country, and should be seen but also the area needs to be respected.

Agree to a point 😢 This “camp” was on Raven Crag at 461m asl above Thirlmere. They clearly busted a gut to lug kit up. I suspect they sought that perfect view and social media does influence such things but sadly never promotes educational responsibility for nature. I try to on here or elsewhere or via my documentaries. But it saddens me more than I can say in a polite way to see such behaviour or witness firsthand being a resident of the area 💔😢

This really needs to stop 😢💔 There’s lots of this going on about the #lakedistrict Just the other week I saw two large family tents pitched by road with fires at Honister Pass 🙄😢 My wife begged me not to get out car and have a polite word. What’s being done @lakedistrictnpa @TheLakesTony ??

@SeriousAboutRL We also NEED superstars. Homegrown talent that outgrows the game and becomes the stars that people outside of the sport recognise. People follow people.

@SeriousAboutRL Unfortunately I also feel that, people outside the game can't get passed the surface level 5 tackles and a kick. I took a few non league mates to Eng v France and all enjoyed the atmos but said they wouldn't be watching again in a hurry.

How can we attract more people in this country to watch our game? 🤔

@WeirdMedieval ...oh, and I ride horses too. So if I could raise the funds for a horse then being a mounted archer I could get quite a decent weekly pay (according to a programme I watched)

@WeirdMedieval Unfortunately for me there wouldn't be much call for a photographer/videographer/marketer ....so I'd just have to make sure I took my longbow (which I do have) with me and join a company of archers lol
