@fromdusktildawn Capitalism, and a constitutional republic says you work and earn to your skills and abilities and the effort you put in. Redistribution has no place in that model. A progressive tax system to accomplish that should be illegal under our Constitution.

They have hundreds of these companies that solely arrange for Chinese citizens... to give birth in the United States."

Based on SCOTUS today, Trump should drop some new EOs tomorrow.... 1) Designate Birth-Tourism Facilitators as Foreign Exploitation Networks Under the Immigration and Nationality Act. 2) Every hospital must report within 2 hours (via the new ICE portal) any birth where the mother is non-LPR/temporary/illegal. A public Birth Tourism Dashboard on DHS.gov listing aggregated numbers by country. 3) Directs SSA, State, and DHS to presume that any child born to a mother who is either unlawfully present or on a temporary non-immigrant visa (B-1/B-2, student, tourist, etc.) lacks parental domicile and therefore is not “subject to the jurisdiction” under the 1868 original meaning. Parents get 90 days to rebut with sworn evidence of permanent domicile + intent to remain (green-card application in process, U.S. home ownership, etc.). Failure = “provisional non-citizen” notation on birth certificate, SSN starting with “9,” and no automatic passport. $50,000 civil penalty per unrebutted birth on hospitals that don’t flag the presumption in real time.

Great. Now, we have a senator sending messages to the President telling him to ignore the laws passed by the legislative branch. Congress is worthless. They don’t represent the constituency anymore to any degree and undermine their own authority to act as a check on the Executive branch. Vote them all out.

In 2023, I opposed an outrageous amendment that barred any president from unilaterally withdrawing the U.S. from NATO. I voted against handcuffing the President & for preserving his Article II authority to terminate treaties. The Founders placed this power in the executive, unlike a divided Congress, because only the President can speak with one voice & act with the speed needed to negotiate or exit treaties.

A U.S. President cannot unilaterally withdraw from NATO. The 2024 NDAA specifically added a requirement to seek congressional approval to do so. It would violate federal law. However, a president can “quiet quit” the alliance by stonewalling and withdrawing support.
