2 teammates in the same corner and nobody covering far post. No midfield presence in case anyone does get the clear. Many teams have this weakness but IMO for falcons it's the one thing that keeps them from being unstoppable

It's interesting to see how @TeamFalconsGG have the synergy to prejump passes on their opponent's half and be an absolute powerhouse, but once the ball enters their corner they get quite easily lost. They'll be a LOT more dangerous once they start spreading out on defense

We wanted to provide an update regarding our continued efforts around DDoS attacks and their impact on Rocket League matches. We have a new set of server-side DDoS protections in the works, including refining the detection system to catch match disruptors, that will be rolling out in the next few weeks. We’re also doing regular sweeps to remove cheaters from the in-game global leaderboards. We’ll update once these protections go live. @kinseh_ I'd have to disagree with a few things here. 1st man's job isn't to transition out of defense, the main focus should always be (if they can't score) to get the ball into a teammate's zone. 3rd man doesn't make plays. At that point they already rotated to 1st.

Learn how to play each role: 1st Man – Help your team transition out of defense or create scoring chances, both on and off the ball. Focus on generating opportunities. 2nd Man – Support your 1st man by being in position. Capitalize on any opportunities and give them time to rotate back. 3rd Man – Cover plays that go over your teammates and make plays that give them time to recover and get back into position. Once you understand your role, the game becomes much easier.

What a grand final, well deserved win for Team Falcons! If they refine their gameplan even more in the future I can see them being undefeated for a good while

Team Falcons might just change the meta with how hard they can punish failed mechanical plays. Airdribbles are becoming less and less of a viability in favor of safer teamplays and I'm all for it. #RLCS

@Gregan Between that and coaching teams to top 24 I have to admit the former has been a lot more satisfying :D

@Gregan Not the greatest achievement but I've coached several people who had mostly lost interest in RL and got them interested again. For a lot of people the main reason they quit/lose interest is because of a lack of understanding the fundamentals and the frustrations that come with it

Stop staying stationary. Too many players stop moving instead of maintaining their momentum. This often leads to missing boost pads and being slower to the ball. Instead, build the habit of always moving so you can collect more pads and keep your momentum going.

In RL, body language is your main communication. Once you start approaching the ball, don't suddenly slow down or change direction too much so your team has an easier time figuring out the potential playing field. Master this skill and you can get to GC without fancy mechanics
