BREAKING: Bank of England just announced it will directly finance the government's extra spending, the first central bank to do so. That means printing money and handing it directly over to them. A literal never-ending bank account.

No surveillance -- not location data, not browsing data, not communication data -- should be done. There is no amount of good that would outweigh all of the bad it enables the government to do. Last crisis they started spying, this crisis they're trying to normalize it.
