Dear @theicai
What about those students who intentionally skipped the May attempt only to prepare and appear for the September exams under the earlier announced schedule?
Many students would have planned their preparation strategy, leave schedules, and even financial arrangements based on the availability of the September attempt.
With this sudden change, some of them may now have to wait longer than expected for their next opportunity, which can be stressful after months of focused preparation.
At the very least, it would be fair if ICAI considers reopening the examination forms for the upcoming attempt or provides a one-time relief measure for students who were relying on the September cycle. 🙏🏻

@TaxationUpdates @IncomeTaxIndia Which is already exist at its best ,
Can deposit in one challan and use it for others.
Your suggestion is not practical. Income-tax TDS/TCS is PAN- and section-specific. A common cash ledger will disrupt credit matching and increase disputes rather ease of compliance
English

Currently Tax Payers Required to Pay Section wise TDS or TCS and then File TDS Return Selecting Relevant Section there
If @IncomeTaxIndia will comes with concept of Tax Ledger in Income Tax like Cash Ledger In GST then Tax Payer Can simply deposit his Tax Amount in Respective Cash Ledger Like TDS Cash Ledger, TCS Cash Ledger and Tax Cash Ledger and From that ledger allow to setoff in Respective Tax Returns so excess balances can easily utilise against future returns or claim refund in Respective ITRs
@FinMinIndia such development in new tax law will make payment of taxes more easier, in GST Portal concept of Cash Ledger is Really helpful to everyone

I'm voicing concerns of CAs in India and abroad. They are the gatekeepers of our businesses and crisis managers, operationalizing government policies. Despite their crucial role, they feel threatened, with privacy and confidentiality at risk.
I urge a CA Protection Act to safeguard them.
The Big Four (Deloitte, PWC, E&Y, and KPMG) dominate India's audit scene, with huge mandates. We must encourage Indian CA firms to grow and reduce their influence.
