Conservative Party finance critic Bhai @jasrajshallan made a quiet visit to Punjab last week, where he met with an out-on-bail Punjabi MLA accused of money laundering and implicated in an ongoing drug trafficking case. @SukhpalKhaira, whom Pierre Poilievre’s finance critic met last week, is currently out on bail while facing charges under India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS), as well as separate proceedings related to alleged money laundering and criminal intimidation. Is it appropriate for a Canadian MP to meet with an individual who is currently out on bail while facing charges under India’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, as well as separate money-laundering and criminal intimidation proceedings, while those cases remain before the courts? What was the purpose of this trip? Why did three Conservative MPs travel to Punjab without publicly mentioning it on their social media? Who did they meet with, and who paid for the trip? What could an Indian MLA currently facing drug-related, criminal intimidation, and money-laundering charges, and a Canadian MP who has publicly spoken about a past involvement in gangs, possibly be discussing that would benefit Canada or the Conservative Party?

Gurameit Sidhu, 62, of Brampton, Ontario, a Canadian national, pleaded guilty today to leading a criminal organization that – during a roughly one-month span – trafficked from the United States into Canada hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine and cocaine worth up to $17 million. Sidhu is the lead defendant in a 23-count January 2024 federal indictment targeting a drug trafficking organization. He has been in federal custody since October 2024 after being extradited from Canada. Additional details: justice.gov/usao-cdca/pr/c…

🇺🇸 Anti-American protesters in Philadelphia are literally cheering for destroyed U.S. military bases and celebrating soldiers returning home in a casket. This is beyond disgusting.
