The lesson Democrats *should* be taking from tonight is that running to the right is not a winning strategy. Appealing to Republican voters does NOT work. But the lesson they will take away instead, as they always do, is that they should run even further to the right.

Two years ago I sat in a room with Democratic donors, organizers, and strategists and I told them if you don’t invest in Democratic online infrastructure we will lose massively. THIS is what I meant. Not just influencers posting about getting out the vote.
