before DALLE-2 was shut down this month, i generated around ~50,000 images from a diverse prompt corpus and did a full fine-tune of SD1.5 on it. the result feels nearly identical to DALLE-2 (left: base SD1.5, right: fine-tuned)

@BloomSweets077 @Zmeinir None of the new ones are. Most new art books are made by Asians. It's nearly impossible to find anything 2020 and newer made by American artists.

@BloomSweets077 @Zmeinir The answer to your question is that a lot of American artists hate competition and will do everything to sabotage another artist. They'll make documents and callouts and will even harass families etc. It's more prevalent in some spaces than others.

Interesting, this makes a lot of sense from the standpoint that ADHD seems to cause low orexin levels, and narcolepsy is basically an autoimmune disease that kills off orexin producing cells

@RUSTSICK Tbf my entire family call me evil and the Devil's Child over stuff I did at 4 years old. So I've been 24/7 bombarded by the idea of being evil since I was a child, and they haven't stopped. They all remember me as the kid that'd hit my mom for brushing my hair too hard.

Moral OCD is wild, because WHY do I spend most of my days having to convince myself I’m NOT the most EVIL person in the world and that I’m NOT being watched by EVERYONE who’s waiting for my PUBLIC EXECUTION, and THEN feel guilty because “that’s a very egotistical thing to think”.

@Zmeinir exactly! americans would much rather tear each other down for being creative than help each other or use tools.

I'm not american, and asians use 3D models and photobashing way more than westerners, for example especially seen in mangas/manwhas because it speeds up the process so much. They aren't judgemental about it either from what I've seen. Using those only gives great results if you already master the fundamentals.
