@iiChemicalAngel @FruityKoiBoi while gachalife has the same style and animation capabilities o vtube studio, its still just an animated cartoon piece. theres no persona or audience to address so if someone has 20 live2d models all portraying characters in a show, then it's not vtubing because there's no vtuber

@iiChemicalAngel @FruityKoiBoi OH! gachalife style videos is using puppets to portray characters for animations. they don't interact with the audience. it's just an animated show. it's just the program that's used to animate.

Please do not label yourself a vtuber until you do either of these: Stream on a platform post short/long term content on a platform Calling yourself a vtuber is not fair to those who are a vtuber and put in the work. PS bots are mainly this is for lol x.x

@__Shwain__ @iiChemicalAngel I have a friend named kiwiminion because they're from new zealand. they use a png of a minion that's photoshopped to look like a kiwi. I wouldn't consider that a vtuber. its just something silly she uses instead of a camera.

@__Shwain__ @iiChemicalAngel I would definitely say the difference between vtubing & being a streamer that happens to use a png is how the character is portrayed obviously some people who pngtube just have an avatar that looks like them or relates to their theme. I'd consider a vtuber to have their own OC

@Jeanne_Hamada @iiChemicalAngel most of the time its just scammers who want people to pay them for artwork. If it's someone with a model or models and who don't stream.. I'll just consider them an animated adoptable collector, or oc enthusiast. maybe vrchat inhabitant.

@iiChemicalAngel Many TBA "Vtubers" out there think putting the label will garner attention without streaming or making any content. I've been doing this for nearly 5 years and I'm still questioning whether I'm good enough for my own title.
