@Voidvania I think it's brilliant. Though some folks might enjoy going back and fighting those bosses (because the boss design is so good) - so maybe they get a little something extra for putting in the extra effort?

@ColorTheBooks They save us from having to constantly enter arena fights just to loot previous ingredients. Instead, they gather those ingredients for us. I came up with this system because I thought going back to farm old ingredients repeatedly would become boring.

@Voidvania Wow! This sounds like so much fun! And do the chefs that are doing the farming for you help add to your cooking supplies?

Yes, the game loop works like this: Buy a recipe, overcome platforming challenges, and defeat the boss. The defeated boss is added to your inventory as an ingredient. You then use those ingredients to cook meals and sell them. With the money earned, the character can be upgraded and new skills can be unlocked. As you save up enough money, you can also enter 1v1 boss fights against rival chefs. When you defeat a chef, you take their place in the world ranking. Our goal is to become the greatest chef in the world.

@Voidvania Oh that's so cool! Oh that's so cool! Is the game about you starting some kind of kitchen or restaurant?

@ColorTheBooks Yes, the early game is quite demanding, but later on, defeated chefs can be assigned to automate ingredient gathering.
