@CraigGrafx I’m more so talking about Butch as the person, I think he wanted to be great and it fell hard, not many turn out to be life time success stories, most coaches end up being hated by their school. I think he was humbled and he’s taken a beating from the fanbase for years.

@VolRecruiting98 Never has their been a greater opportunity to "learn from a legend" while also sticking it to your former employer and their fans. Not sure if Butch came out the other end a better coach though. Most of his success came from riding the coat tails of Brian Kelly.

Seeing Butch Jones at Josh Dobbs’ wedding actually makes me happy. Especially with all those Vols pictured.
Players deserve to have this type of relationship with their coach.
