Viktoriia Voloboeva is telling us a story @PADiBa2024 where she is unraveling a hypoxic puzzle and hunting for factors sustaining it in shoot apical meristem, very interesting!

I never thought I would work with fluorescence, something that you can only see using a microscope. Otherwise, nobody would believe that your plant emits such an alien and bright fluorescent light. #PlantScience #Science #Microscopy

The death of protoplasts. I was told that I made a restaurant for fungi by keeping my leaf protoplasts in not fully sterile conditions. However, they still look pretty. #PlantScience #Microscopy

Scientific outreach is a way for us to inform the society about developments within plant sciences. Several years ago I decided to make a short video about CRISPR and its application. Shall I make more of these type of videos? Yeah or nah? #GeneEditing youtu.be/XE-SA030lqo?si…

If you use the background_image() function from ggpubr (rpkgs.datanovia.com/ggpubr/referen…), you can display your ggPlantmap on top of a image. There is a small y-axis offset, but it can do the trick. I will work on implementing this function whenever I have some free time. #ggPlantmap

Have you ever been attacked by ticks? Sure, it's unpleasant, but ticks are actually very beneficial from ecological perspectives. They drive biodiversity and keep populations under control. Helen Esser @WECatWUR is very passionate about parasites and now I’m too. Thanks @PEandRC
