how are our best talents supposed to give world class broadcast when they have to play musicial chairs with their roles. worse yet, the development of both the younger and veteran talents is always stagnated by those role swaps and worst of all, the audience's familiarity with box office broadcast (madzow in league's case) is being broken apart for a desk host position that has a plethora of capable candidates and one that should've never stopped being the host.

No hate at all towards any of the talents in the picture. Most of them are my friends, and I genuinely wish them the best. My question is about the talent selection process itself. Imm struggling to understand some of the decisions. For example, some people who havent been active in the League of Legends scene for quite some time were selected, while others who have been consistently involved throughout the year were placed in different roles. Someone whos been primarily working in another game for years is now casting League of Legends at EWC. Nothing makes sense. This isnt about saying anyone doesnt deserve the opportunity. Its about having a selection process that feels fair to everyone and doesnt look unfair. If you are calling it the Esports World Cup, then the talent selection should reflect that same world class standard. I know it seems like they dont care much about the Arabic broadcast, but they should. Again, this is directed at EWC process, not the individuals. I respect everyone involved, and I hope they all do amazing job.

Can someone explain to me how the f*** Smalli is participating in the EWC and the AL when there are at least 6 talents who are better than him and deserve this opportunity more (including 2 from Saudi Arabia, if there’s a quota for Saudi talent). Two years in the scene and this guy showing 0 progress! Unless this guy has someone on the inside who’s getting him these opportunities. Nepotism and favoritism at their finest.

@TravCS too many unfinished prospects get chopped by teams that want immediate results, and my biggest fear for jorko is that nobody on liquid in the last 1.5 years have even improved, whether the vet's leadership or the younger guys either

I'm a big fan of what Jorko has shown in his short career, and he's an upgrade over ultimate, but my main concern is Liquid's track record. Too soon at 17? I hope not, and I hope this partnership really nurtures his talent like it deserves. One of the top AWP names for the future
