I’m noticing a lot of foreigners who seem to not understand why we’d risk hundreds of lives, spend millions of dollars, and sacrifice several aircraft to rescue one guy. And the reason they don’t understand is also the reason people can’t be made American by a piece of paper.

You don’t truly grasp how far space is if you think our structures would even be visible. Skyscrapers that seem enormous to us are only a few meters high in comparison from a distance where the Earth appears as a full sphere, they completely disappear. This is what humanity looks like in the grand scheme of things when viewed from deep space very tiny

Here u go. WHY YOU CANT SEE ROME FROM SPACE Scale The photo covers roughly 1500 to 2000 km across. Rome is only about 35 km across. Italy is about 234 times larger than Rome. In that image, Rome is less than a single useful pixel. Contrast Cities dont have sharp edges. They blend into the land because buildings, roads and suburbs are similar colours to soil and rock. Coastlines pop. Cities dont. Atmosphere From 400 km up you are looking through haze, dust and humidity. This acts like a blur filter. Anything smaller than a coastline gets washed out. Human structures are thin Roads, buildings and even huge stadiums are tiny compared to the landmass. They dont create strong visual signals from orbit. BOTTOM LINE Rome disappears in that image because it is microscopic compared to the Italian peninsula, low contrast, and blurred by the atmosphere. From orbit, geology dominates and human structures vanish.

@JenGriffinFNC @JoJoFromJerz How much did just that one “complex, many-layered” rescue operation cost? How many Medicaid enrollees could have been paid for with that money? Instead of starting stupid expensive wars to distract from the Epstein Files coverup, maybe take care of Americans right here at home.

Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.  The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been  injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue. Fox News can confirm the A10 Warthog that crashed Friday was involved in providing cover for the rescue teams searching for the pilot. That A10 crashed in Kuwait (first reported by ABC Friday) but the A10 pilot managed to eject safely and was rescued. There was destruction of aircraft which have sensitive equipment on board, I am told, all part of this complex CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue) mission. The F15E was pretty much destroyed on impact. Two rescue helicopters were hit by enemy fire on  Friday and crew members onboard were injured by enemy fire but managed to make it out of Iran. There were a lot of elements to this rescue, I am told.

found someone charging $9/month for personalized ai bedtime stories. 900 subscribers. pulling $8k+ monthly. the content is simple. ai generates a 3-5 minute story starring the subscriber's kid. kid's name, kid's favorite animal, kid's favorite color woven into a new story every night delivered via email. this person picked a niche where "made by ai" is a feature. parents don't care if ai wrote the story. they care that their 4 year old heard their name 8 times and is now asking for the doggy astronaut story again tomorrow. most people chase niches where ai tries to replace human quality. beauty content, fitness coaching, educational explainers. niches where the audience actively hunts for signs of fakeness and punishes it. the money moves are in niches where ai capability IS the product. personalization at scale. custom content per user. things a human literally couldn't deliver because writing 900 unique bedtime stories per night is physically impossible. other niches with this same dynamic: custom ai pet portraits from submitted photos, personalized workout plans based on body type questionnaires, ai-narrated family audiobooks from old letters and journals. the product is the personalization. ai is the only way it can exist at that price point.

In her new memoir, actress Christina Applegate shares devastating diary entries from the time she got pregnant but sacrificed her child in 1991. The "Married with Children" star clearly knows exactly what's happening as she chooses her career over the life of the baby, who she says "to this day, I know" was a daughter. "I love this being… I always felt that if I ever got pregnant when I knew it was the wrong time, I wouldn’t have any problem having an ab**tion. ‘Oh, whatever. It isn’t even a baby yet.’ That’s bullsh*t. This creature’s incredible- makes me feel whole, safe." *** “I’m f*cking pregnant, and I’m k*lling my child on Thursday. I’m thinking, ‘Where the f*ck can I go to recuperate from m*rder?’" Applegate went on to write a poem to the unborn baby, asking for forgiveness. "Hello, little thing. I feel you every moment of my day. Such a tiny existence. Such an immense effect you have. You are a miracle. A tiny handed miracle. I love you, but you know your fate. It’s not your time. I know you didn’t make that decision, but it can’t be your time. You will live on, though. You will live through another. I hope you will forgive me, but I want you to know how you’ve changed me. You’ve opened my eyes. You’re letting me know something is more important than myself. But mommy can’t be with you right now. But know she loves you- more than any other miracle. And know that when it’s your time it will be your time."

@aakashgupta Great breakdown, Aakash. This is the classic “DIY illusion” - people compare retail vs retail, not retail vs scale. Time + equipment + waste leads to hidden costs no one accounts for.

You are literally describing my side hustle story and I call bullshit here. Trust me folks, I tried this EXACT concept and published an app here 6 mo ago. apps.apple.com/us/app/zippyst… Zero traction. No paying subscribers. The reality is without spending thousands to market and tens of thousands for influencer clicks nobody will find the app. On top of that, AI has accelerated so much that you can literally use @grok to tell better stories at no additional cost.
