@SScriver3 It’s not realistic to assume that cutting educational programs will result in better food access or shelter since those “savings” aren’t guaranteed to be redirected that way. What’s clear is that reducing school supports can directly weaken the systems many students rely on.

@VoteLubinski I understand but ... Telling kids there is no supper, a place to eat or sleep, or heat ... is quite a bit worse and life threatening.

Removing the program would take away a meaningful and valuable part of students’ educational experience, reducing pathways for cultural connection and personal growth. #language #heritage #education

@SScriver3 For 50 years, funding existed for students. Suddenly there is no money? Telling kids to wait for education is like telling them to stop growing. Students should not pay for poor priorities.

@VoteLubinski Once we can het out of debt which this program can live again later, a different day! As right now we need life essential programs more healthcare and other life essentials like affordable homes, food, power, and heat!

I find it rich that the people who were so excited that a school teacher was our Prime Minister for nine years are now saying that the only person who can run this country is an economist. And when 80% of voters wanted an election, our former leader chose party over country and threw this nation into a leadership “contest” at the exact time that Donald Trump was lining up to take us down.
