Made a pit stop today at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Negaunee. Michigan’s iron industry was more valuable that the California gold rush and mined 90% of the ore used to build the Arsenal of Democracy during WWII! Also got a chance to try my hand at loading a freighter:

Chief Craig was a worthy Senate candidate, and he’d make a fantastic Mayor of Detroit if he chooses to run. I really enjoyed the chance to get to know the Chief during this campaign, and am excited to see where he directs his passion for public service next.
