Chemical abortion is now the most common abortion method in America. And thanks to the FDA removing in-person and physician-dispensing requirements, abortionists can mail these dangerous drugs across the country — to women they’ve never examined or even spoken to. But now, some pro-abortion states are taking things even further. Read our update to learn more about shield laws: mailchi.mp/9ee4ad278e5f/s…

Congress passed a one-year provision blocking any taxpayer dollars from flowing to organizations that perform abortions, most notably, Planned Parenthood. Of course, Planned Parenthood sued to keep receiving your tax dollars. Read our update for the FACTS: mailchi.mp/e81a2b9ed6eb/p…

Last week the head of the FDA “committed to conducting a full review of mifepristone” – the drug used for “medical termination of early pregnancy.” This drug – we refuse to call it abortion “medication” – is used in chemical abortions, which comprise about 63% of all clinical abortions in the US. But that statistic does NOT include those treating mifepristone like a do-it-yourself (DIY) abortion... Click here to read our latest email: mailchi.mp/6d2d2cb119d2/a…

Last week we covered the news that the US House voted to defund abortion providers. If the Senate follows suit, Planned Parenthood stands to lose 39% of its annual revenue. In February the liberal New York Times exposed Planned Parenthood for what it describes as “botched care,” facilities “in dire need of upgrades and repairs,” and “inadequately trained staff,” in a report that surprised even the CEO of Planned Parenthood who called it “an unwarranted attack.” And while collecting your tax dollars, this extreme organization decries even modest abortion regulations. Don’t take our word for it – check out their Facebook meltdown. While Planned Parenthood facilities make headlines about “botched care” that make even the liberal media take some of their operations to task, the Planned Parenthood social media team charges ahead, calling even the least controversial limits on abortion “Bullsh*t.” Here’s this list of what Planned Parenthood thinks, to use their own word, is Bullsh*t: Waiting periods. Apparently Planned Parenthood doesn’t believe their “health care providers” should have to wait a day for patients to consider options - even if the patient just saw her first positive pregnancy test. Required ultrasounds. Some states, like Florida, require an ultrasound before performing an abortion or prescribing abortion medication. I guess it’s OK to see a kidney stone before you have it removed, but in Planned Parenthood’s eyes it’s NOT OK for expectant mothers to see an ultrasound of their unborn baby. If it’s just “a clump of cells” as they like to say, then what’s the problem? Gestation limits. This making Planned Parenthood’s “Bullsh*t list” is yet another admission that they want to perform abortions at any stage of pregnancy, for any reason. Mandatory counseling. I suppose that from Planned Parenthood’s perspective, informing women of abortion-related risks, giving them options to consider and things to think about before making a final decision might give some women second thoughts about having an abortion. Why is that a bad thing? Restrictions around insurance. It would seem that they not only want taxpayers to fund elective abortions, but for insurance ratepayers to do the same. Wow. Restrictions around providers. Those are laws requiring only physicians to perform procedural abortions. To Planned Parenthood, requiring that abortions be performed by an actual doctor is just too much of a cost and inconvenience. Clearly, in their own words, if it were up to Planned Parenthood abortion would be on demand at any time during pregnancy, with no limits, no regulations, performed by non-doctors and paid for by taxpayers. Planned Parenthood calls this “health care” – but it’s actually an extreme abortion agenda. See their post here: facebook.com/plannedparenth…

In 2024 New York passed an amendment that granted equal protection to, among other things, “sex, including sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, and reproductive healthcare and autonomy.” The Legislature put Proposition 1 on the ballot to enshrine pro-abortion extremism in the New York constitution, even though the state already had the some of the most permissive abortion laws in the country. The supporters of Proposition 1 told voters the amendment would “protect abortion and our freedoms” and “cement our fundamental rights and reproductive freedoms in the state constitution.” Those opposed to the extreme amendment encouraged New Yorkers to vote “No” to protect kids and parental rights - warning that the amendment empowers “state intervention over parental guidance,” even in areas of girls’ sports and a minor’s gender-transition. Proposition 1 passed with 62.47% of the vote, cementing the right to abortion into the highest law in the state. The extreme pro-abortion governor is on the record saying, “New Yorkers have a clear message for anyone who dares to threaten their reproductive rights: not here, not now, not ever.” But her policies impact more than just New Yorkers. The state has also passed abortion shield laws that shield doctors (or other abortion providers) when they break the law by shipping DIY (do-it-yourself) abortion pills to “patients” in other states. One such example is a New York doctor facing criminal charges in Louisiana for mailing abortion pills to the mother of a pregnant teen. The mother gave the pills to her minor daughter to terminate her pregnancy, even though her daughter intended to keep the baby. According to the District Attorney in Louisiana, the teen’s mother filled out a questionnaire and the doctor in New York shipped the abortion pills with no consultation or examination of the teen. Both the teen’s mother and the doctor are being charged with a crime, but New York is siding with the doctor and refusing to cooperate in Louisiana’s investigation or comply with the extradition requests. In fact, the state has gone so far as to remove the names of doctors from abortion prescription bottles in order to “protect” the identity of other doctors who break the abortion laws of other states. One attorney who aids these rogue doctors said that they must agree not to travel to states where abortion is limited when they engage in this practice and shared that some doctors interested in performing remote abortions change their mind because they have family in Florida and “any visits… would be too risky.” New York has elected politicians with extreme abortion platforms, shielded abortion doctors that violate the laws of other states and enshrined abortion in their constitution. Pro-abortion extremists know Florida is no longer a haven for abortions and we will not allow abortion providers (doctors or otherwise) to intentionally break laws in other states and escape the consequences here. But we must continue to push back against abortion extremism and affirm a culture of life at the constitutional level, in our state laws, and in each of our communities. Staying vigilant means knowing what the opposition is up to – will you share this post so your friends can see the impact of extreme pro-abortion policies? One year ago today, Florida’s Heartbeat Protection Act went into effect, reducing the number of abortions in Florida by an estimated 30%. On the same day the Florida Supreme Court released the decision that allowed it to become law, they also approved for the ballot Amendment 4, the extreme abortion amendment that would have overturned this and virtually every other abortion limit in Florida. The abortion industry spent more than $100 million on ads lying about Florida’s Heartbeat Protection Act in their unsuccessful effort to pass Amendment 4. Even with this barrage of misinformation, a recent survey showed that 64% of Florida voters support what the law does as a reasonable restriction on abortion. New research from the Ethics & Public Policy Center shows that over 1 in 10 patients experience at least one serious adverse event following a mifepristone abortion. This is approximately 22 times more often than the FDA currently recognizes. Read more here:eppc.org/news/largest-e…

The largest donor to the failed Amendment 4 campaign has hired former campaign staff to keep them employed during the offseason and admitted: "Had we won, abortion would have become legally accessible for more people than through all of our other abortion ballot measures combined... Florida would have become a safe haven for abortion access for the entire Southeast United States." Their amendment failed but pro-abortion radicals are not done with Florida. Amendment 4 doesn’t just repeal ONE abortion law, it repeals ALL of them: parental consent laws, laws that prevent taxpayers from funding abortions, and even laws that say only doctors can perform abortions. #VoteNoOn4Florida
