@AuronMacintyre @curtis_yarvin "Is we getting the Yarvin voting app yet"
English

Are we actually getting the @curtis_yarvin voting app?

@DRIFTPRAIRIES Ha, to the latter- we've all been there. With Spring finally here we can thaw out now. The mentor path seems really cool though. Lucky stuff for sure. Godspeed !
English

@VoyageNull Thank you! I started with a class in college on making photo books as an art form, and then found a bookbinding mentor back home who ive worked a lot with. I need to hone in more I think, rededicate myself to it and really focus on improving, ive been sort of coasting I feel
English

@DRIFTPRAIRIES That makes sense. Were you a protege to someone for bookbinding? Your work is great and in a world of distraction honing in I think is a strength.
English

@VoyageNull I think its good to develop both though and ive been slacking on the Art in favor of Craft (as nebulous as my own definitions for the difference for those is, there's a very real divide in my mind)
English

@DRIFTPRAIRIES I mean this more as an aside, but I went to a small art gallery near San Diego and there was this one artist who had obvious talent. Two or three fantastic paintings. So much trash though by way of other subjects. I had the sense this dude needed to be told what to paint.

They used a stock image of a white guy, but tuberculosis is being brought back by immigrants. The first example cited in the article is the illegal who killed the Loyola student.

A truck carrying antiprotons will drive across Europe. A team at CERN just transported antimatter across the laboratory's campus in a truck. Literally. 92 antiprotons packed into a portable trap weighing one tonne. As everyone knows, antimatter annihilates on contact with ordinary matter - which is basically everything. The final destination is Germany: Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. An extraordinary delivery in the history of road transport. home.cern/news/press-rel…

This is a correct take, and per the BAPist theory I assume that all this powerful Dionysian energy produced a major fertility spike in the '60s and '70s relative to the more bourgeois-Christian 1950s? A veritable baby boom, even?

The intensification of sexuality & glorification of the male sexual impulse which BAP calls for is exactly what the cult of rock n roll was from its inception with Elvis all the way through to the 80s, which is why Paglia called rock n roll the fullest expression of the Dionysian

Legal immigration to the U.S. is falling sharply in 2025 under Trump policies.
•Roughly 250,000 fewer visas issued vs. 2024
•About an 11% overall decline
Most major visa categories are down:
•Student visas: down over 100,000+ (30%+)
•Family visas: down ~27%
•Exchange / medical visas: down significantly
•Employment-based visas: also declining
•Multiple other categories also down
Exception:
•Temporary worker visas slightly increased (~+4,000)
•Visas for Chinese and Indian nationals fell by ~84,000
→ driven mainly by fewer students and skilled workers coming from those countries
The drop is policy-driven, not random:
•Expanded travel bans (19+ countries)
•Stricter vetting, including social media screening
•Paused or reduced visa interviews
•Reduced embassy staffing
Also tied to:
•Broader efforts to limit legal immigration pathways
•Administrative slowdowns and processing barriers
•For the first time in decades,
more immigrants are leaving the U.S. than entering
The debate (this is where narratives split)
Critics say:
•This hurts:
•Economic growth
•Innovation
•Universities and research pipelines
•Talent competitiveness globally
Supporters say:
•This:
•Protects American workers
•Reduces labor competition
•Forces companies to hire domestically
The U.S. is intentionally tightening legal immigration across most major pipelines, and the fight is whether that strengthens the domestic workforce or weakens long-term economic growth.

The current pitch of the religious conservative natalists is something like, “You should have children. —Why? To save civilization of course. Do it for others. But to do this you need to have religion. —What is the connection? —Because we have sociological correlation studies that tell us that women who have children and are married tend to be religious. So it’s that you can find religion— Why should I be religious? —Because we have studies that show religious people tend to have higher fertility and marriage rates. That could be you.”

It's as if this is some freak half-cousin argument to the 90s lefty assertion that if not for puritanical, religious fervor, choking our culture, we would be 'more free'. You don't need to pit yourself against 'the religious'. Go, have your pagan er atheistic marriage in a courthouse and don't or have a kid. The contract has long been dispensed with, no worries! The prison door has been open for some time.
