@eimaikifas Compare 10000+ years of nature religion to 1000-1500 years of abrahamic religion that refers to a book. And nature religion goes back even further than 10000+ years, but that time frame is probably the most relevant for todays perspective of paganism.

So apparently Czechs can't possibly be German. As if we weren't part of the Holy Roman Empire for 800 years (with Prague serving as its capital for roughly 120), weren't part of Austria after that for the next 100 and weren't the industrial backbone of Nazi Germany during WW2. Throughout history we lived side by side with Germans as neighbors, helped out one another, learned each other's languages. Today's Czech vocabulary contains about 1000 words that have German roots. When it comes to me. I'm 1/4 German myself. My great-grandfather fought in the Wehrmacht and my great-great grandfather fought for Austria-Hungary in WW1. And at the end of the day, we still eat schnitzel every Christmas Eve just like in Germany and Austria. Just because we speak a certain language doesn't automatically make us part of one group and alien to the other...
