The truth is pc were too expensive for the average consumer consoles were easier. So consoles brought in casuals so obviously cod would expand to consoles. Back then pc gamers were real gamers and consoles were more family gamers. As the times progressed cod would obviously sell more on consoles since they were cheaper (always have been) it wasnt until esports/streaming really that pc took off as it made it easier and almost similar costs as well as upgradeability. Regardless of where it started where it went and where its at now, they should be focusing on giving everyone a similar experience so if you are going to allow KBM but give controller an aiming advantage then give it to pc too.
