@saratu Yesss. And it sadly can be traced to the large weaponizing of respect. Younger groups engage in ‘mature’ behavior to prevent being looked down upon, and older groups avoid things that will generally be seen as ‘agbaya’ behavior to maintain the respect they think they deserve.
