#D4vd was arrested by complaint, not indictment, and the case will be submitted to the DA’s office by Monday for charging consideration. This likely means either the Grand Jury did not return an indictment, or the DA chose not to seek one. An arrest by complaint means there will be a preliminary hearing to determine probable cause. This is a public hearing where evidence is presented and witnesses are questioned under oath, something that is bypassed with a Grand Jury indictment. It will be important to see whether this reflects a difference in strategy or a difference of opinion regarding the strength of the case between LAPD and the DA, or if there is another reason for proceeding this way. Immunity agreements, whether formal or informal (proffer), remain in effect even though there was no indictment. #CelesteRivasHernandez

@barbarismcrit I'm sorry but this is what the US has always been. Israel is moreso an extension of the US than a template for our government to copy

🚨 MINNEAPOLIS MAYOR CALLS IT OUT: Jacob Frey isn’t buying the spin. “They’re already trying to frame this as self-defense. Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everyone directly: that’s bullshit.”

Breaking News: Here is the footage of U.S. forces seizing a Russian-flagged oil tanker in the Atlantic. This is getting out of control. Trump and the U.S. are going to start World War 3.

Murphy: "This is an insane plan. They are talking about stealing the Venezuelan oil at gun point for an undefined period of time as leverage to micromanage the country. The scope and insanity of that plan is absolutely stunning…This is going to be a very rough ride for the U.S."

🚨 BREAKING: Newly released footage from Minneapolis shows the U.S. citizen never attempted to strike ICE agents with her vehicle, directly contradicting DHS’s public statement. The video shows the woman trying to turn her car around as ICE agents abruptly pull up and surround her. Agents shout conflicting commands, including ordering her to get out of the car, while positioning themselves along the left side of the vehicle. At no point does the footage show her driving toward any agent or posing an imminent threat. No agent’s life appears to be in danger. Despite this, an agent opens fire, shooting her multiple times in the head. The footage does not support DHS’s narrative. It shows chaos, escalation, and lethal force used against someone attempting to leave… not attack. This is why witness video matters. Without it, the public would be left with an official lie, a dead U.S. citizen, and no accountability.

This is fucking horrifying - cold blooded murder by a fascist agent. My God. An ICE agent shot a woman in the face 3-4 times in Minneapolis after they asked her to move her car from blocking traffic in protest of the surge in ICE deployment in MN.

"A recent Lancet study found that sanctions from western countries, namely the US, have caused 38 million deaths since 1970."
حيدر | Haydar@chronicalihere

Sanctions are nothing but economic terrorism. Invisibilized violence. 25% of humanity is under US sanctions. 54 countries. 2 billion people. This is what the Empire excels in; subjugation through scarcity and denial; creating the conditions to stifle and break collective will power until that country accepts America's mandate. The Lancet recent published a study which found that sanctions from western countries, namely the US, have caused 38 million deaths since 1970. The average death toll ranges from 400,000 to over 1 million per year. The American Empire repeatedly uses the same ploy across the Global South: It manufactures the crises and then positions itself as the sole savior who cares about wellbeing of the people there and must save them. They target and stifle a country through embargoes, sanctions, coordinated political instability and propaganda campaigns, if not covert military means. Then point to the resulting suffering and devastation it causes as a reason to justify regime change; towards installing one that's more accommodating to their own agenda. Dressing it up in the language and theatrics of human rights. The narrative they run always makes it seem like sanctions or bombing these countries is solely about targeting/ harming a Saddam or Castro or Assad— these singular evil individuals, and so it's justified. They'll never mention or outright say they're targeting Iraqis or Cubans or Syrians; the actual citizenry of those countries who bare the brunt of that economic and imperialist violence. It is the people who always suffer either way. Ask me in 8 years how people are living in Venezuela and whether they can eat this supposed *democracy*.
