@DarkSoilData @Ck27126422 Correct, it is. My response was to CK as it relates to seed co’s having permission to trespass. And here at Fake Vylor, we agree with your stance. Your data should be yours, and support exercising all of your rights on trespassers or the proper compensation for your ears.

@VylorSeeds @Ck27126422 That agreement is limited to Corteva employees. The profarmer crop tour is other farmers & market advisory services--I don't want my in-field data going to them.

Think about Crop Tour this way: A modern farm is a high-tech lab. A grower invests heavily in precision genetics, variable-rate nitrogen applications & soil health. When scouts pull an ear of corn they are taking farmers' private data & turning it into a public commodity.

I know it sounds crazy. But how about just calling it Pioneer, and dropping all other regional brands. Few things are as recognizable as John Deere, case IH, Pioneer, and Dekalb in the Ag space. But, free advice is worth just that!

Generations of farmers showed real valor surviving droughts, floods, and low prices. Corteva’s contribution? Naming their spinoff Vylor so they can sell it back to those same families at a 300% markup. Respect. ✊🏿
