Life when you primarily play single player games

Landon - KRNG Apollo@ApollosMission
Call of Duty is dead. Arc Raiders is dead. Fortnite is dead. Battlefield is dead. GTA is still not out. What is anyone even playing anymore these days?
English

@DelphoxEnjoyer_ @CFC_Samzzy1 Can't do it anymore, but hidden power electric would probably ohko the Gyarados. Not sure if Delphi gets any electric or rock moves to use for this.
English

@CFC_Samzzy1 4 of these Pokémon are weak to fire.
Mega Delphox, has Levitate so immune to Excadrill ground stab, can kill Excadrill, Skarmory and Venusaur with fire, psychic stab on Venusaur and Infernape.
Gets walled by Gyarados though, unless they’re Mega, then Solar Beam or Focus Blast.
English

@56pearo @TheNCSmaster Yes it is. What of it? You enjoy taking statements without context and using them against people. What a pitiful person you must be.
English

@56pearo @TheNCSmaster I have plenty of friends, and also primarily play singleplayer games, but still talk to most of them on at least a weekly basis, some every day. Skill issue.
English

@TheNCSmaster I mean if I was like you and had no friends I would be doing the same.
English

@rannisfang Depending on the kind of werewolf, having no control of when you transform, or even your actions whole transformed both sound lole pretty big negatives. Some werewolves also have extreme longevity, which can also be a pretty big minus.
English

@vilenblood Simply perform nuclear fusion, solves all your problems (jk, dont for a first time playthrough). Congrats on beating the dragons, they were a but of a roadblock for me too, as with most players.
English

@VideoArtGame Symphony of the Night, while extremely easy, has still aged well enough that it remains a candidate for best Metroidvania to many people. While I personally know several I like more, even other Castlevania games, it has so much that is unique about that it keeps me coming back.
English

Game of the day: 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮: 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
Released in 1997 for the PlayStation, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is widely regarded as one of the greatest games ever made. Directed by Koji Igarashi (with Toru Hagihara as producer), it took the classic Castlevania formula and completely reinvented it by blending exploration, RPG elements and incredible atmosphere into what we now call the “Metroidvania” genre.
You play as Alucard, the son of Dracula himself, returning to Dracula’s castle five years after the events of Rondo of Blood. What follows is a haunting, non-linear journey through a massive, ever-changing gothic castle filled with secrets, powerful enemies and breathtaking music.

@Rathiou_UwU @Invinium Imo even in cases, like coding, where there is in theory little moral or ethical problems with using it, and it would be useful, even if it did work well 100% of the time there would still be the environmental, electrical, and workplace structure (ie taking jobs) problems.
English

@W01f10A1pha @Invinium Thing is gen ai is a good tool for 10% of cases and just ruins everything 90% of the time because it's just too tempting to use it
English

"Let's start openly using generative AI after the final boss of our latest release was a critical commentary on how art is the highest expression of the human soul"
Who the fuck told them this was a good idea?
Guy@Invinium
Neowiz really made this boss and then went ahead and started using AI art lmaoooo you can't make this shit up atp
English

@Rathiou_UwU @Invinium Tbh I even have a problem with it being used for coding, given that currently it seems to me like its probably responsible for the insane quantity of buggy messes that get released, though admittedly thats anecdotal evidence at best.
English

@W01f10A1pha @Invinium Générative ai is bad when used to repalce creativity but it isn't when used on unimportant things to help devs focus on important things (clair obscur dev team is a good exemple)
English

@slimernator @SirBadOpinions And, ya know, actually built for the character. I love playing as Dante in 4, but the enemies and levels are built for Nero, and it shows.
English

@W01f10A1pha @SirBadOpinions The gameplay and level design are great tho I say its special edition is better than dmc 4 solely cause the campaign is better and more varied
English

DMC cartoon is so bad some people are saying DmC is no longer the worst DMC adaptation.
For context, this would be like a new adaptation of Dragon Ball coming out and being so bad that people said “Y’know Dragon Ball Evolution isn’t nearly as bad as this.”

English

@suiseitanist Yeah I heard only Korean server is active, and many Korean player inside are toxic.
English

@ScottyDeals @thunderba11r Being commonplace does not making something good, justified, or smart. Generative AI is a scourge on human culture, the planet, and the life on it.
English

@thunderba11r Your crazy if you don’t think all gaming studios have been using AI is some form or fashion
English

@Rathiou_UwU @Invinium Something being commonplace does not make it good, justified, or smart. Generative AI is a scourge on human culture, the planet, and the life on it.
English

@BorosIsSTRONG Not quite flat, just rather small. Cecilia is flat. They are both hot and cute though.
English

@oneofmyturns169 @croompley They work most of the time, but its not like with Smough where the pillars work almost 100%
English

@croompley @W01f10A1pha The pillars don't even separate them, godskin fatass can just roll over them.
English

@Invinium @SLAVEKNIGHTX Personally id rather do Nokstella than Shunning Grounds, but thays largely because I get lost in shunning grounds very easily, and full clear (items and all) the game most times I play it.
English

@SLAVEKNIGHTX Ainsel river and nokstella are boring as shit I can't force my self to get through them everytime
