Dumbest fucking argument you can create contrast with your block palette if you really want to, why do people expect shading to be good by default it's a sandbox game you can make it so if you want to

@advent_agent I hate to break it to you bro but Sekiro is probably my least favourite fromsoft game, I still love it but it never had the same feeling for me all the other games do 💔

@cachorro_dinero They are somewhat weaker to fire iirc? But learning to parry their attacks is really useful, feel satisfying as hell too so I would recommend it! Parries are a bit hard at first in souls games but they are very high reward if you can land them

@croompley how t do you get to them? are you encourage to use stats stuff like rot, bleed etc? or they have some weakness? still on my first playthrough and they're the one thing that stumps me every time

@sparite @atrophine_ I feel like in catacombs/caves/tunnels it's not as offensive. They are completely optional and only have stuff that generally only a small part of players use. Ofc it's nice if there's some new content in them but I think Golden Godfrey is much more shitty all things considered

@croompley Idk I love the crucible knight castle in Nightreign, I get to fight like 50 of them, unlike the rancid shitfest that is the giant variant.

@croompley For owl father you also really need to do the inner version. It makes an already peak fight even better. The other 2 inner fights (ishin and geni) are cool but don't do much for me
