Je ne supporte pas ces traductions automatiques qui font croire à tout le monde qu’on peut tout lire et comprendre quelle que soit la langue originale. D’un seul coup tout le monde se croit capable de répondre en français ou même en japonais (en ignorant tout de cette langue) à un message publié en japonais ou en chinois mais traduit automatiquement en français, qui plus est avec un aplomb supérieur à celui que confère une maîtrise de la langue d’origine. On n’a pas fini d’avoir des querelles de contresens et malentendus. Autant vous dire que la traduction par IA ignore la nuance puisque par définition elle se base sur les probabilités les plus élevées.

Il y a des gens qu’on appelle des introvertis. Les interactions prolongées les fatiguent, non pas parce qu’ils n’aiment pas les gens, mais parce que ça leur coûte de l’énergie. Ils préfèrent investir dans leurs relations profondes plutôt que dans des relations superficielles. Prendre ça pour du mépris, c’est juste passer à côté de personnes de valeur. Comment peux-tu voir de l’égoïsme chez quelqu’un de généreux, qui donne de l’attention à ceux qui comptent pour lui ? Le problème, c’est qu’on vit dans une société qui valorise les people pleasers ceux qui jouent les chaleureux avec tout le monde alors que c’est du superficiel. Les introvertis, ne donnent pas leur énergie à tout le monde. Ils misent sur la qualité, pas sur la quantité.

Nvidia is cutting gaming GPU production 30-40% for 2026. This means that AMD has the perfect opportunity to gain market share as Nvidia GPUs will skyrocket in price and AMD GPUs could sell way more GPUs if they keep the prices at MSRP. I’m not saying it’s not smart to learn and speak French in France. I’m saying the global lingua franca is English. If you are English-only speaking, you will have an easier time traveling the world and having an easy time. If you are French-only speaking, you will not be able to do this very well, if at all. I’m not sure why people are over interpreting this reality and getting emotional

The French are often offended if you ask if they speak English because they either don't or don't want to. The Dutch are offended if you ask if they speak English because they obviously do and why would you think they don't or won't? The Dutch are the most reasonable, normal, and practical people on the globe.

English is the global lingua franca. You might not like it. You might lament the reasons why that is the case. But it is. Therefore, the burden is on everyone else to learn English rather than a native English speaker learn another language… including when that English speaker travels. Including to China.

L’IA apporte effectivement la possibilité de créer à tout le monde. Elle coûte relativement peu cher, elle est rapide, et ce qu’elle produit est objectivement correct. C’est exactement pour la même raison que les tomates que vous mangez sont sans goût, que les vêtements que vous portez se jettent au bout de deux ans, etc. En retirant l’artisanat du processus, vous retirez la qualité. Vous rendez le travail artisanal extrêmement cher, réservé aux plus aisés, car il devient de plus en plus difficile d’être artisan : seuls les excellents survivent et ils deviennent inaccessibles. Là où cela devient bien plus vicieux encore, c’est qu’ici, on touche à l’art. À la création pure. Aux films, aux divertissements, à tout ce qui vous permet de réfléchir, de vous évader, d’évoluer. Ne vous êtes-vous jamais dit que le cinéma est de moins en moins bon ? Que la télévision devient de plus en plus stupide ? Que les jeux vidéo perdent en profondeur ? Au final, vous vous empoisonnez vous-mêmes et vous en êtes contents. C’est ce que les artistes essaient de vous dire. Et quand vous le comprendrez, il ne restera plus rien à sauver.
