My AIS receiver is currently tracking a ship 329 nautical miles away. Gotta love solar storms

@N1FIY You're not going to get much most of the time. My usual max range is about 28nm. This is on a 3 element yagi ~1/8 mile from the beach.

@W1SPG And here I wondered if it was worth setting up an AIS receiver 50 miles inland from the ocean!
