While speaking to the Hausa community in Lagos today, I urged Nigerians to reject politics based on religion and ethnicity and focus on integrity, competence and leadership that can move the country forward. Today, insecurity has kept farmers away from their farms, children out of schools and life is becoming harder for ordinary Nigerians. We must choose leaders who can truly fix the country. Nigeria will be OK.

One of the tragedies of politics in Nigeria is that the terrible consequences of corrupt and incompetent leadership affects both those who support the bad leaders and those who are against them. When kidnappers invade communities and schools, they do not separate Tinubu/APC supporters from those who are against the regime. It beats my imagination why a government that has failed is still getting the support of a significant percentage of the population. Tinubu knows he cannot win in a free and fair election, but it is the same victims of his misrule that are trying to reinforce his destructive leadership.

Tinubu’s alleged total votes in the 2023 presidential election: 8.79 million. Tinubu’s votes in the 2026 APC primary: 10.99 million. So APC members alone are now more than the Nigerians who “made him” president? 😭😂 Fear of Peter Obi don delete their brain function 🤣🤣🤣
