@WAurand @NatSparbeck Some smart TV’s like Vizio doesn’t have a contract with Fan Duel/Bally or MLB.TV. So, a few years ago I bought a $29 Roku to watch the Tigers $19.99, now I’m using it for MLB.TV. Awesome game yesterday!!

So now to be able to simply watch your four teams in Detroit you have to subscribe and pay for both FanDuel and MLBtv and/or “Detroit SportsNet”, on top of your main provider? For being such a dedicated sports city we sure don’t get treated like it. Diabolical.

@WAurand I just have this thing and then when I click it, my family room tv pops up and it casts.

It’s funny that the Tigers game is blackouted in the ESPN app even though I have Detroit SportsNet. I wouldn’t ever use the ESPN except the family room tv doesn’t have the MLB app so that’s nice. It’s not that big of a deal to cast it from my phone but still…unnecessary.

So apparently the Tigers pre-game show is only available on cable but not through the MLB App? That’s brutal.
