Last weekend at the Top Gun Midwest Championship in Peoria, our team went 4-2. I went 11 for 19 at the plate over the weekend. It was a great experience and a building block for what we are gonna accomplish this weekend at the PGF Nationals in California. Had a really good weekend at the LP4U Stars and Stripes tournament in Orland Park/ Bourbonnais this past weekend. Our team went 5-3 and lost a tough one in extra innings in the semis of our bracket. Bats were as hot as the weather in Peoria this weekend! 62 hits and 58 runs in 6 games. PGF in Cali coming up next!

Having been so busy during this past week, I was finally able to get last weeks highlights completed from the New Lenox Lightening Invitational. I didn’t pitch because we chose to rest my arm in order to get ready for @ondecksoftball Chicago Jamboree on July 7th. Fell a little behind on posting, but over the past 2 weeks we have been playing great as a team! We have grown so much and improved in so many ways. We were co-champs due to a rainout in Columbus Ohio. And last week we made it to the championship game in Crown Point but came up short to a great Wisconsin lightening team.
