The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle. In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal. The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable. In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex. Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW. In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion. These amendments must be repealed. The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces. I am devastated @salltweets is having to endure this evil insanity. But this is a Pyrrhic Victory for the hirsute, oleaginous, Trans-Type Psychopath (TTP), Jason Tickle. Every single person in Australia knows he's a big, hairy, ugly, bloke who is just trying it on. The judges who passed this insane ruling know Mr Tickle is a man. Mr Tickle knows he's a man (otherwise, why push so hard?) Even the flipping dingoes and kangaroos know Mr Tickle is a man! This is going to be a mass peaking event. And regardless of how long it takes, this 'victory' will be overturned. Sall Grover is a heroine of our times. Her fight for reality, fairness and to restore sanity will go down in history.

As we approach the Giggle v Tickle decision, I’m remembering that • I received an Australian Human Rights Commission complain citing “gender identity discrimination” when I was 14/15 weeks pregnant. • The AHRC was, imo, never neutral. It was gender ideology capture from the very beginning. While they were talking about “assigned sex at birth” and “lived experience”, I was 20 weeks pregnant & found out I was having a girl. • To settle the complaint in the AHRC - and not have it escalate to federal court - I had to • agree to let him on the woman only social networking app I created • a let all men who claim to be women on the app • apologize • attend “sex & gender education classes • pay $20,000 • moderate all content on the woman only platform so men who claim to be women weren’t offended by it. • The AHRC never meaningfully entertained my argument that woman only spaces were lawful. I always felt that their stance was, “you’re guilty, admit it, accept it.” • While contemplating the magnitude of what I had to do, I thought about my daughter & that I would eventually be teaching her to stand up for herself & do what is right. How could I do that if I ran away when something seemed too hard? • I said “NO” to what the AHRC was offering. Tickle filed in federal court 60 days later and “Tickle v Giggle” began. • A federal court case + full appeal & my daughter is about to turn 4 years old. Giggle v Tickle has been in the background of her whole life. Any time the case has been incredibly stressful - and there have been many times, I was losing my hair at one point - I have just focused on my daughter & it instantly became easier. I want her to have rights & will do everything I can to ensure that she does. • I want every woman & girl to be able to say “NO” to a man, no matter how he identifies, and not be punished for it. • At no point in the past 4.5 years have I been even remotely convinced that men can be women.
