One player who’s really let the team down this season is Ryan Gravenberch. It’s flown under the radar a bit because Macca’s struggles have taken most of the attention, but Gravenberch has been nowhere near the level he showed last season. The quality is clearly there, but asking him to operate as a number 6 just doesn’t suit his game and it’s exposed a lot of weaknesses. Last year he looked dynamic, confident and full of personality on the ball this season he’s looked like a shadow of that player far too often. The club seriously need to address that role moving forward. Still, there’s a top player in there, and hopefully next season we start seeing the Gravenberch that had the whole fanbase excited again.

The most damning thing about Arne Slot isn’t necessarily that Liverpool are quite average; it’s that he’s drained the life out of Anfield. If he were to stay beyond this season, the repercussions could be massive.

@jonqpr422 Started playing shit last season after new year. Klopp steam seems to have run out & Slot rot seems to have set in then! Were lucky we managed to hold on & win league. But for Spurs game, we were pretty much shit 2nd half of the season. We just forget cos we won league!
