Tehran and multiple other Iranian cities, including the eastern city of Mashhad, were hit by intense Israeli airstrikes on Sunday. All Triad counties have been added to the Winter Weather Advisory, from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday through 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Snow is expected to start Wednesday morning, and may mix with sleet and freezing rain at times. 1-3" total snow/sleet expected. wxii12.com/weather

Latest forecast thoughts- 1"-3" still looks realistic for our area. Drier air to the west of the Triad will keep totals lower. Higher totals are more likely north & east. The Triad is near that "zone" and we're watching it closely. Snow falls Wednesday into Thursday.
