@BrightonNewsJo Let’s hope the council make him put all of that right… I mean, who does the new owner think he is?! Guessing people power will help a decision to rectify

@WEPBrighton It's unclear how much power they have. Even if they put an enforcement notice on it, he could appeal and then it would be up to a planning inspector

Progress update. Work does seem to have stopped as builders talk to aghast passers-by

You can see him there in the purple coat, handing out leaflets claiming they're beyond repair. He's refused to tell me what his plans are for the pub now, saying I'm harassing him. Very unclear why the tiles would be anyone's first priority in doing it up.

@lucy_evzz @SussexUni @WEPLGBTQI Come on Lucy, Professor Stock was harassed for years, the university has recognized that. Not sure what definition of harassment you are using? What awful statements about trans women (notice you don’t at all mention trans men) did she make exactly?

@SussexUni Lucy, as a Women’s Officer I’m sure you would agree that violence against women should be stamped out, zero tolerance, harassing female professors to the point of resignation is violence against women and needs to be stamped out.

@simonw2811 @Steph__Wilkins @CountDeadWomen Male violence against women is an issue for men to deal with, campaign against, call out, to end. Telling your daughters to stay alert is great, but the problem still remains, women hating men. Until men stop doing it, it will carry on.

Katie (Kathleen) Brankin, 37, was stabbed to death at a glamping site on the coast at Limavady, N. Ireland. Thomas Davidson, 53, has been charged with her murder.
