Davos, Switzerland: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, Minister of New and Renewable Energy, visited the Akshaya Patra Foundation meal stall at Davos, where he ate khichdi and praised the meal’s simplicity and nutritional value.

We were happy to receive Shri @JoshiPralhad Ji, Hon’ble Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution & New and Renewable Energy, Government of India, at our food distribution stall @Davos , Switzerland. We are immensely grateful for his kind words of encouragement. His appreciation of our meals’ simplicity and nutritional value has greatly enthused us. It is our privilege to represent India and highlight the impact of the Government of India’s flagship PM POSHAN scheme on this important platform during the ongoing @wef Annual Meeting. As a successful public-private partnership that has served close to 5 billion meals in the past 25 years, social innovation and good governance have been the cornerstones of our school lunch program. We have partnered with World Food Movement to set up a kiosk serving freshly cooked, wholesome meals near the Ratia Centre on Promenade Street in Davos. @WFMAmerica is a new feeding initiative of @ISKCONBangalore inspired by Akshaya Patra to nourish students and communities in America and across the world. @EduMinOfIndia @GovernmentIndia @madhupanditdasa @CP_Dasa
