RIP to my dear friend Jerry Obenauer. Jerry passed away last night after his courageous fight with cancer. Jerry brought a smile and laugh 24/7. He will be missed by his family, teammates, fellow activities directors and the community of Hazen. Lost a great one today!

In April of 2024 (after 4 great years) I resigned from teaching/coaching in Big Lake to pursue a career in admin. When the summer contact period came around in June of 2024 I immediately missed being in a gym. Today I was back in a gym doing what I love at Roseville H.S.

Just devastating news. Growing up in Enderlin, my friends and I idolized JO. He was great at everything he did. Then to see the success he had as a coach only furthered my respect for him. The Thielges' are a great family that's been through a lot & my heart goes out to them.

Beyond saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Jason Thielges. He knew the challenge of starting a football program from the ground up at Fargo Davies. That's what made the 2014 state championship even sweeter. A great friend + coach. Thoughts to his family and friends.
