Sir, how was the walk from Phoenix mall to Hope Farm along the footpath? What were your key observations, and what actions are being planned regarding footpath encroachments? By when can we expect concrete steps to clear them? Did you notice the extent of encroachments from Kadugodi Tree Park Metro Station to Hope Farm? Frankly, the East Zone Commissioner appears to be doing nothing. This morning, a 10 km Hejje Gala (footpath Walk) drive flagged off from Phoenix Marketcity to Hope Farm within the jurisdiction of Bengaluru East City Corporation The initiative aims to comprehensively assess the condition of footpaths, ensure safe and seamless pedestrian movement, and promote a strong walking culture across the city. During the inspection, detailed on-site instructions were issued to officials regarding footpath width, removal of encroachments and obstructions, identification of stretches requiring repair, and enhancement of essential civic amenities. The drive was attended by Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner D. S. Ramesh, Additional Commissioner Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar, other officials, Arun Pai representing The Ugly Indian, members of various organizations, and citizens. 🏙️ The Greater Bengaluru Authority remains steadfast in its commitment to developing a pedestrian-friendly city and strengthening urban infrastructure for the benefit of all. #GreaterBengaluruAuthority #WalkableCity #PedestrianSafety #GreaterBengaluru #civicinitiative #gbachiefcommissioner

Not sure if you’ve seen the stretch between Bellandur and Silk Board, but #AFCONS still has a lot of work left there. They are nowhere close to completion. We run into every possible situation. On the Yellow Line, they completed the civil works, but there were no trains available. On another lines, we might see trains ready while the civil works remain incomplete. But otherwise, there shouldn't be much concern with BEML's delivery of trains when compared to Titagarh.

Phase 2A on ORR, connecting Silk Board and KR Puram, is likely to have the viaduct work completed by May 2026 and the stations finished by August 2026 under SNC’s scope. However, the portion being handled by AFCONS remains unclear, and they are certainly running behind schedule. And if you are hearing these Dates (like Dec 2026) from any of our politicians (ANY PARTY), just don't believe and ignore them. They blindly make announcements for political gains.

Scary footpaths I know, but take enough safety precautions and join the walk. Is the East zone commissioner joining this walk!? Would love to see @GBAChiefComm part of this. He is trying his best on ground. Unless the zonal commissioners contribute, this won’t help much.
