The small pit where you see little water is used only for dumping garbage from nearby houses. Pattandur Agrahara Lake, ECC Road, Whitefield.

Cut the trees, dump mud and gravel, and slowly erase the water body. That’s how LAKES are converted into LAND through encroachment carried out in broad daylight.
Zoom in closely, and you can spot three security guards sitting under the small tree. #SavePattandurAgraharaLake

#BengaluruMetro's elevated #PinkLine deadline pushed again. Sources: 1) RDSO trials done on May 9 but report will take 3-4 weeks 2) Speed cert by June-end 3) CMRS nod by mid-to-end July 4) Govt will then decide when to open the line, could be Aug 15 @WF_Watcher @blrmetrotracker

This news about the Kalena Agrahara–Kadugodi Tree Park metro line will definitely excite many of us, but such announcements are usually still far from becoming reality and tend to take forever to complete.
Why?
The Hebbal–Sarjapur metro line was cleared by the State Government in 2024, and nobody really knows what the current status of it is.

I can’t recall the last time it rained ☔️ this heavily in the early morning during summer. This downpour is even more intense than what we saw four days ago.
There’s no need for photos or videos, it’s likely to cause severe waterlogging across many parts of the city. For those who have the option, working from home would be the wiser choice today.
