The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases: This was a tough one. On one hand, there are some fun characters and some interesting stories. I actually think the writing overall is pretty decent. Unfortunately, the art and animation are horrific. I don't blame the animators or the studio. The main studio listed at least on Wikipedia is Studio Deen, and they do have some really good work under their belt. I’m sure budget and time were the main culprits behind the terrible animation quality. Ultimately, it does lead to a feeling of disappointment because, like I said, I do actually like the storylines they present, and personally, I do like OP’s main characters, and this one is quite good. I like his origin story in both his previous world and his new one, and I definitely like his internal struggles, especially near the end of the show when he has to decide what to do to not tread the same path his previous life went. Unfortunately, though, the animation just doesn't do him justice and makes him look like a clown in just about every high-movement moment. I can't say this is offensively bad but definitely not one you should go out of your way to watch. Below is a clip that is just a teaser for the quality of animation to expect.

Alright there are quite of few of you who aren’t well adjusted human beings so let me spell it out for you. “It’s a 15 second exchange who cares” - I didn’t say in the grand scheme of things that it matters. All I said was that it was cringe. The game will probably be good or even great. Having 2 NPC’s that are cringe doesn’t make the game bad. It just makes those particular moments cringe. I shouldn’t have to spell this out. I didn’t even say anything bad about said YouTuber so coming out to defend him makes no sense. “I don’t even know who that is so who cares” - Good for you. Wish I could say the same.

I don’t blame these influencers for taking the offer to be in a game. I blame the developers for thinking it’s a good idea. This is cringe.

Disagreeing with something or thinking something is cringe doesn’t make someone a snowflake. If communication with you is just going to consist of words you saw on the internet but don’t understand, there is no point in continuing this. Also tells me you’re likely a child, and I should probably stop here and wait till you’re older.

Still playing the new Batman. Just got to what I believe is chapter 4 where you unlock Batgirl. Still not done with the game but here are some of my favorite suits so far. As well as probably my favorite Batmobile.

Got about 17 hours into Avowed so far. So far having a good time. Got a cool blood sword from a talking skeleton. Also really like shooting the poor creatures that aren’t evolved enough to use guns like the involved peasants they are. With the new Batman game coming out tomorrow I will likely be taking a break from Avowed but I am enjoying my time with it and look forward to getting back to it.

This being a soulslike is a huge bummer.

Put about 7 hours into Avowed on PS5 and so far I’m liking it. Not far enough in the game for it to truly impress me yet but overall I am having more fun than I thought I would.
