@WestHamHelp Thanks Meg, it wasn’t staffed at all on Saturday. It was being used as another line. It’s fair that not all disabilities are visible but the queue was approx 10 mins long, I was having to physically support my mum by that point.
@WHUFC85 Hi, thanks for getting in touch, The lane is still in place - it's on the far right hand side if facing the stadium. I'll raise with the stadium to make sure this is being staffed correctly. Thanks, Meg
@WestHamHelp Can I ask why the accessible queue on bridge 5 is no longer in use? I travel to games with a disabled (walking stick user) season ticket holder who can’t stand for long periods of time. Would this be an matter for the #DSAB?
@WestHamUtd@wearepurpleorg Yet your accessibility team didn’t have a bariatric wheel chair for a disabled supporter or even know what one was and don’t recognise disabled supporters unless they are on receipt of higher rate personal independence payments (PIP) 🤨
We are proud to be working with @wearepurpleorg towards our disability confident level 3 accreditation. We train staff in areas such as BSL, equality, diversity and unconscious bias and have a dedicated Disabled Supporters Board for our fans ⚒❤️
@MPSWesthamUtdFC@WestHamUtd No issues in the ‘seated area’? Stewards, especially the female supervisor was threatening fans with fines and the club being charged if they refused to sit down.. then spent the 2nd half slagging off her own colleague who wondered off for a smoke and left her post unattended.
Great noise from @WestHamUtd supporters today, result wasnt to be
But time to move on to Huddersfield at Home next Saturday
Happy to report no arrests and no significant issues.
Safe journey home #coyi#whufc#irons
@MPSWesthamUtdFC@WestHamHelp West Ham do not assist unless you are parked in the accessible car park which is by invitation only. They tell people like you, you can either wait or walk.. if you physically can’t walk that far and are parked towards the aquatic centre you have no choice but to wait.
@WHUFC85 If the vulnerable contact @WestHamHelp they will be able to assist,
Supporters are not held there they can walk back over bridge 3 and down the loop road like many do.
lot of replys about hold backs, fans mixing every game
The fans will eventually merge to go to the station, This happens at every ground in the country.
Most grounds you mix with home fans as you come out with no issues.
This is delayed at the LS but will always happen.
@MPSWesthamUtdFC Stewards kick people out of their seats so people who can’t stand for long periods of time are forced to stand on the concourse as there is no seating there or outside. It’s a ridiculous situation considering we have to walk through the away fans to get to gates C, B & A
@MPSWesthamUtdFC West Ham fans are held back behind segregation barriers close to block 113/114 every week. Mostly people with disabilities left hanging around in the bitter cold because they aren’t able to walk round the stadium the long way. Who takes the vulnerable into consideration?
Fans of a short Christmas film made for £50 have called on John Lewis to use the filmmaker for their festive advertising campaign.

Hello folks @SpireLondonEast I have a little favour to ask for a fellow Hammer. Do you have a spare bariatric wheel chair that we could borrow for Saturday’s game against Burnley? We would happily pick up and return afterwards. We don’t want him to miss his first LS game! Thank u
@Rattymagic6@ExWHUemployee@WestHam_Central@WestHamUtd@WestHamWaycouk They don’t have bariatric chairs at the ground, which is what is needed for this fan. I have spoken to Jo in Accessibility and she has confirmed this. We may have found a solution tho. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼
